As a New Yorker, I'm offend...okay, never mind. This is true.
I read this since I would be 30 soon and I wanted to someone to commiserate with or feel relevant to. It was...fine. Plot was somehow tepid and the characters uninteresting
It's just that, you try so hard to get it right, you know? To get your life to this point you've imagined in your head and you tell yourself that if I can just get to there, I'll be happy 🦆
This was actually a really light, funny read. It's not the sort of thing I'd choose for myself but it was a gift from a friend and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The ending was a little too neat for my tastes but that's just me being picky. This novel is great fun and I felt a lot better about growing older after I'd read it.
"You were majoring in sociology, which is pretty much the equivalent of majoring in unemployment." Pg.7 I love you, Jonathan Tropper. #sociologymajorsunite
