Sweet is the exact word to describe this book. It‘s a light hearted simple read. It was nice after reading some other dark stories recently. I will say that “chick-lit” is not my fav style but I was curious when I picked it up the other day from the local op shop. There were times when I found myself wishing it wasn‘t such a long book and she just get to the point but all in all I enjoyed the book.

Now available on Hoopla! I was not expecting much. The cover is too sweet for me and the premise has been done a lot, but this was great!! Thoroughly enjoyable protagonist. Truly good, resonant writing. Twists a plenty. Not saccharine at all! This premise has never been done this way. A perfect gift book. I‘m getting it for a teacher or two, for sure.

Last night I told my flatmate all the books I was planning to read on holiday, all of which are on one of my two ereaders. She's just checking I haven't accidentally also packed some physical books...

I find it quite hard to find books that I really like but then this came along. This is such an amazing book✨

I love this book. It's a gentle read but one I was engrossed in from the moment I pick it up. If you want a light read this is brilliant.

This was sent to me by our #MyBookSwapClub member. Short. Sweet. Twisted plot. Set in London. She finds out her husband is cheating on her, you need to read what she does next :)
