so-soA good vacation read: 50-year old Sonia dies of a heart disease and leaves via her will a huge fortune to her three best friends, provided they comply with her instructions, which ultimately aim and succeed to change these ladies' lives for the better, but not without some adventure, complications, disasters, love, haute couture and a lot of champagne on the way. It reminded me of "The Tuesday Friends" book series by Monika Peetz.
Trying to get familiar with Swedish author Asa Hellberg's books. "A Luxurious Promise" is the first instalment in a series of three novels; a bitter sweet story of a lifelong beautiful friendship between four women. Their personalities are built with genuine humor and they seem to be a more realistic version of the Sex & The City ladies.
My reading continues, one book at a time. The spreading in books grows.
