Reading this book was like taking a relaxing road trip to a small community in Ohio where the Amish and the English live side by side. Heidi and Lyle Troyer are the main characters and they are the dots that connect the other folks into a network of caring friends. Heidi held cooking lessons in her home. Her students learned how to prepare tasty dishes and some valuable life lessons. There are no accidental neighbors or classmates in life.
