This modern fantasy (MF) is a great book for partner reading (PR) that teaches manners. There is a spanish translation for every english sentence on each page. This would be a perfect book to do a partner reading with an EL. It would help the EL see how the translation sounds in English and what the words look like. It gives both students a chance to take turns reading in their fluent language.

DrSpalding Reading rockets is a high-quality resource. Nice job finding a video to aid your peers in partner reading. Partner reading was one of the topics explored in a recent article you read for class. Way to go! 7y
DrSpalding I also like this series of books. Children flock to them at the Scholastic book fairs. Books that are bilingual are excellent additions to your classroom library. 7y
