Pickpick

#doublespin for January. Man, I am having a slow start to the year as this is only book two. It was slow to get going, but the last third was terrific. This memoir tells the story of a very dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship. (For her sixteenth birthday, the author‘s mom gives her a gram of coke.) A train wreck you cannot look away from and some beautiful writing. @TheAromaofBooks
