The Butchered Man | 
pickWith an interesting opening and written in quite a pleasing, relaxed manor I was really enjoying the first in the Norhminster Mysteries. Unfortunately the investigation became slightly tedious as the book progressed and with the introduction of some romantic, courting interludes my enjoyment diminished. A third of the way through I had assumed who the guilty person maybe although I had the reasoning completely wrong. The ending redeemed the story.
