I didn't read the first one, but it covers everything that happened. As a big kid I can see how the adventure and whatnot would appeal to kids, but as a parent absolutely no f*cking way would Randi not be in trouble. Like, grounded forever. It was so farfetched I was eye-rolling hard at some parts. Also, I was mildly uncomfortable by how Randi talked down to her friends, like they couldn't get by without her. Just, ick.

Like the dedication, tho.

After some chores, finally sitting down with breakfast and my current, quick MG read! It's the second in the series, but I haven't read the first (all that happened is covered pretty quickly in this one). So far, my feelings are torn about it. I'm almost done.
