CRYSTAL FROST tells herself she isn’t crazy, but sane people don’t see ghosts. As her psychic abilities manifest, Crystal discovers she can see into the future, witness the past, and speak with the dead. Add blackmail to the list of things she never thought would happen to her, and you basically have her sophomore year covered. After spotting her first ghost, secrets from her family, friends, and classmates begin to surface. Uncovering secrets can be dangerous, but giving up means someone will get hurt. Again.

On the anniversary of Olivia, death Crystal imagines seeing the girl. She thinks she is losing her mind until she speaks to her mother and discovers a talent for seeing and speaking to ghosts. Olivia cannot rest until Crystal has helped her, and soon Crystal and her two best friends are caught up in the supernatural world and dangerous relationships.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves YA lit as well as the paranormal.

Mehso-so

Fire in frost is a YA paranormal mystery, that has a pretty good storyline but lacks a certain amount of staying power. I give it props for tackling a difficult subject (trigger warning: domestic abuse) especially since they are high school students & most people don't talk about how early that abuse can start. It's not a super heavy book by any means though and does manage to balance it out well. I just don't think I'll remember it later.

I needed something easy to listen to today so I picked a book I started at the beginning of last year and never finisbed. It's decent, and it has taken an angle I didn't expect.

So I just spent the last four hours reading this book. I‘m not really into paranormal types of books, but I must say, I loved this book. I could not put it down (hence my four hours of reading). I‘m definitely reading the second book!!! Totally recommend to anyone who likes paranormal books!
