This is a story about Grandma Beetle needing to do chores around the house before she is able to go with Senor Calavera. I would read this story to my classroom because it has excellent illustrations and a good message about being patient. It also includes culture that some students may not be familiar with to learn more about.

This book is about grandma Beetle and senor Calavera. When Senor Calavera arrives unexpectedly at grandma Beatles door he request that she leaves with him right away but grandma beetle is not yet ready so she trickes him to be able to stay longer to be to see her family.
