Starting the year off a little slowly, only reading these two books. And I haven't finished anything recently.
pick#readaroundtheworld #belize Another debut novel from Belize, but this one parallels the breaking free of the colony from Britain with a coming of age story of a young Creole girl learning to stand on her own. Hurricanes feature in this one also. I suspect that one can not learn about Belize without learning about hurricanes.
