All my buddy reads plus an extra for the cottage ( and another extra just in case) ( and all the books on my kindle just in case case ) #readharder 🤣

Aims42 Fellow mood reader reporting 🫡I understand this 1000% 😂 (edited) 1mo
mcctrish @Aims42 I feel like I might need a mystery at some point 😆 1mo

charl08 Two extras sounds very restrained to me! 1mo
TheBookHippie Only two extras? 1mo
mcctrish @charl08 sometimes this happens 🤣 1mo
mcctrish @TheBookHippie it‘s shameful 1mo
BethM This looks amazing. I pack the same way with books for any kind of vacation or up north adventure lol. @Aims42 I‘m such a mood reader- it‘s why I can usually only handle one book club at a time lol. 1mo
AlaMich Your cottage looks amazing! (edited) 1mo
Tamra 👏🏾👏🏾 Comfort stack 1mo
AmyG That looks like a fabulous vacation. Enjoy. King of Ashes is excellent. 1mo
mcctrish @AlaMich it‘s my in laws cottage so …… 1mo
Aims42 @BethM I totally get that! 😊 I‘m in only 1 IRL bookclub and even then sometimes I‘m struggling to finish our book in time for the meeting 🤣 I‘d love to do a bookclub where everyone reads whatever they want and at the meeting they give a little book report on one of the books they read since the last meeting 1mo
TheBookHippie @Aims42 yes !!! That‘s a good Bookclub idea! 1mo
AlaMich @mcctrish I need better relatives!! 1mo
Aims42 @TheBookHippie Thank you 😊 Less stressful, and adds to the TBR pile, everyone wins 😁🙌 1mo
mcctrish @AlaMich the cottage doesn‘t really balance them out 😉 1mo
AlaMich @mcctrish I hear you. I had similar in-laws, but without the cottage. 😅 1mo
JenReadsAlot That looks amazing! Enjoy! 1mo
lil1inblue 😍 😍 😍 The only way to pack for vacation! 1mo
dabbe What a sweet spot! 💚💚💚 1mo

I‘ve gotten out of the habit of taking pictures of what I‘m reading and sharing them here. 🥲 So here‘s a January report with a repost of my #BookSpin list!
Read: Tagged & Rated Below
Note: Read my BookSpin, Double BookSpin, and #FoodandLit choice this month!

Texreader This is great! I need to do something like this 2y
ChasingOm For #FoodandLit Ghana. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 2y
ChasingOm For #BookSpin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2y

ChasingOm For #DoubleBookSpin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (When I originally picked this up a few years ago, I could not get into it. Definitely a right book, wrong time scenario - I LOVED it.) 2y
ChasingOm A difficult read; Kate is an excellent story teller and artist and I‘m so glad she shared her own. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2y
ChasingOm For #ReadHarder Manga, I read this series instead and I HAVE ALL THE LOVE FOR IT. It‘s cute and sweet and made me laugh out loud every volume. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2y

Pickpick

1970‘s Detroit. Reporter Elena Abbott digs into flyers being distributed during a big election with the possibility of the first black mayor to be elected. There‘s a dark force working against her. I enjoyed reading this graphic novel but I felt there‘s a whole previous story I missed and another story not written yet? Too many holes, I needed more! #ReadHarder ~any book from the Ignyte awards list #Pop23 a book set in the decade you were born

I was so late to this party! I read this in one sitting. Totally didn‘t expect what was revealed. I‘m also glad I waited until spooky season to pick it up. #huey #catsoflitsy #readharder

Mehso-so

Not my cup of tea but I‘m also not the audience for this one. Celine & Brad did remind me of a high school neighbor, family friend. I thought the book did a nice job of bringing anxiety and OCD to the story without it overpowering the plot. #Pop23 ~romance with a fat lead #ReadHarder ~romance w/ bisexual representation
Also, I hate the wording for this prompt and Celine is ‘heavy‘ not necessarily ‘fat‘

5feet.of.fury It‘s really personal preference, but the word “fat” is being reclaimed. 2y

#ReadHarder challenge 23: a book of short stories

Bookwomble I thought, “I've not heard of the writer, Varia Tions,“ then I was like, “Ohhh!“ 🤪😄 2y
arlenefinnigan @Bookwomble hang on, can you see the photo? Are images loading for you? 2y
Bookwomble @arlenefinnigan I've switched to the website rather than using the app, as photos are showing on the former 😊 2y
arlenefinnigan @Bookwomble ah, good to know! 2y
