#ReadHarder challenge 12: a book that‘s been challenged recently in your school district/library OR read one of the most-challenged/banned books of the year by a queer and/or BIPOC author. Borrowed from Oldham Library, who happily don't do censorship.

TrishB It‘s thankfully not a common thing here. 19h

I had a rough reading year in 2022, so we're starting out 2023 gentle. 😊

I'm looking forward to jumping back into #FoodandLit, Book Riot's #ReadHarder challenge, my #Outlander series read (maybe as part of #SeriesLove2023?), and #BookSpin...while also realizing that with a full time job, a part time job, and a new project, I probably won't be reading 20 books a month any time soon. 😂

Here's to being an active Litten once again! 🥂

bnp Volume doesn't count, it's that you're here that matters. 1mo

May as well start the 2023 challenge a couple of days early...

Pickpick

This is an interesting collection of travel stories. I really liked that it gave equal billing to writing about walking from Fleetwood to Liverpool as it did to writing about getting the night train in Iraq - some travel is more accessible than others, and all exploring and taking pleasure in discovery of your surroundings is worthwhile.

And that completes the 2022 @bookriot #ReadHarder challenge for me. With 2 days to spare. Onto 2023....
