Set hundreds of years in the future, "The Lady Who Loved Lightning" follows the characters of "Paradise Lost" as they journey out into a mostly deserted galaxy, looking for any life anywhere. When Walt and Chely find a new planet very far away with vegetation only, plans are made to develop the new world as they see fit, including procuring a new moon (as pictured on the back cover). New characters and old populate this fourth book in the Carolyn & Brandy series, which also focuses on Carolyn's relationship with her boyfriend John, and how she faces the real possibility she may very well have lost him forever. The two previous entries in this series are "Paradise Regained" and "Paradise Lost;" the third, "A World Full of Lobsters," is a manga that's currently stuck in preproduction.
