I knew of Pollock's name, but I didn't really know anything about him before I read this story. I think it was short and sweet, but packed full of information. I'm an adult and I walked away with knowledge, so I know it would be beneficial to students. I think this would be great for the classroom regardless of their age.

This is a biography of Jackson Pollock! This helps show the tale of Pollock creating a piece from start to finish. This was an interesting biography! I had heard of Pollock but it was really cool to learn more about him. This would be a great book to introduce children to Pollock!

I would definitely use this book inside my classroom especially when we are learning about art and famous artists and different art styles. The illustrations are beautiful and go great with the type of art he paints.

This is an award-winning Biography book about Jackson Pollock. He loved art and to paint and draw. He chose to paint with house paint instead of oils and watercolors. Even at a young age and throughout high school he loved art. The author uses facts about Jackson Pollock, and they are all true because in the back of the book, in the notes and sources and author's notes page, there are those same facts from true sources.

He decided to paint whatever he felt was right, and some people did not understand his finished pieces. He was a soulful person who danced to the beat of his own drum, and that is a great story for children to hear because many of them are beginning to learn who they are

This book was so cute. The illustrations were fun and so was the info. This would be great for a section about abstract art!
