bailedI couldn't find any redeeming qualities and ultimately quit looking. The books are unimaginative and inauthentic. Might work for someone else but I can't share these with the young'uns in my life. They are too smart and much better options out there.

Several laugh-out-loud moments in Queen Red Riding Hood's Guide to Royalty and clever twists on historical events in The Mother Goose Diaries, and both slip in some adult humor and connections to social issues. Books like these are why I need to read more middle grade!
