Only just short of a pan, I'm afraid. I almost bailed halfway through. I enjoyed the Paris in 1921 setting but the story seemed unnecessarily convoluted to me and the central character not as engaging as she needed to be to make me suspend disbelief. I think the author was trying a bit too hard. #ozfiction
