Super cute middle grade story. Told well, good audio performances.
Kids will love it! I would put it above a ‘so-so‘ but under ‘pick‘

Cleaning out my car while giggling along to this one. I‘m behind on my Natalie Lloyd reading! Fixing that this summer. 🕶
#OctoberXFiles Day 17: Clear #PeopleAreStrange vibe with 7 oddball siblings named after the day of the week that they were born. As Fats noted in her review: “When disaster struck, and their house exploded, the Problim children were forced to go out of hiding and live in their grandfather‘s house in Lost Cove, a small town along the Carolina coastline.” Her full review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-iQw
This MG book is sure to be a hit with young readers. What‘s not to love? It has seven siblings left home alone by their archaeologist parents (who happen to work for the queen), a lost treasure & evil villainess who covets their home (& the treasure), a toddler whose flatulence is categorized into over 200 different varieties (no joke), & a squirrel who knows too much (seriously). An entertaining read I imagine a lot of young readers will enjoy.
And in today‘s edition of #DistractedByTheCover, I give you this MG book. It‘s not a great photo but it is a great cover! Of course I have to read it!
Mixed bag of feeling about this one. Follow link to read full review: https://lifebooksandcc.blogspot.com/2018/03/book-review-problim-children.html?m=...
