Nick and his brother Alan are on the run with their mother, who was once the lover of a powerful magician. When she left him, she stole an important charm - and he will stop at nothing to reclaim it. This was such a fantastically hilarious book. Nick, the MC, is one of my favorite characters of all time, I loved the plot, I was never bored... There was just so much to love about this.
