Love this book!
Nice short read from one of the finest biologists of our time.
This book was thought provoking and interesting. A few parts were so scientific and technical that I didn't quite follow them. Occasionally it felt like the author was bragging about his accomplishments, but overall it was a worthwhile read.
The competition between the two forces can be succinctly expressed as follows: Within groups, selfish individuals beat altruistic individuals, but groups of altruists beat groups of selfish individuals. Or, risking oversimplification, individual selection promoted sin, while group selection promoted virtue.
