Full review on my blog in bio! 3⭐

I am not a huge fan of football. People that love football history and history of Northern Ireland will love this book, but me, not so much.

It has amazingly good history descriptions, but it is not a novel, nor a fast read. Don't expect a story where you connect with the characters. Expect a brief details of what exactly happened with Irish football during the First and Second World War.

almost finished reading this book! Very interesting read, about Football in Northern Ireland and the history!

Libby1 Hi! What makes you want to read this? I live in NI so I‘m curious! 😃 6y
diaryofdifference @Libby1 I received it as a Giveaway. I honestly wouldn't have bought it myself. But - I found a lot about how Northern Irish football players weren't allowed to play on Sunday for example, the politics going on between nations, how it affected the sport, the rivalry between protestants and catholics, etc... Great book, full of football history and politics. (I am not much into politics, but I like football) 🌼 6y
