Janne Teller skriver i internationalt format... Leon Jaurnow i Kristeligt Dagblad

Actually, did you guys know that the most brutal massacre since WW2 happened in 1995 in Srebrenica, Bosnia? The Serbian Army killed around 8000 Muslim Bosniaks in an area that was allegedly a safe zone under UN protection. How crazy is that...

RJHowe There have been some worse massacres since ww2 but that was a bad one 6y

Mehso-so

Janne Teller is a Danish author, but this book takes place during the Yugoslav wars from 1991 to 2001. It's about the love story of a Jamaican surgeon and a Bosnian woman. It was well researched and interesting because it's so close to me in time and geography as well. Although the timelines were really confusing sometimes and I wanted to bail at certain points, the story spoke to me on so many levels. (And I still can't figure out the cover)

Hungarian translation of the original Danish "Kattens Tramp". I couldn't find this one's English version ? I already read another one of her books, "Nothing" ("Intet") and I can recommend it to everyone! ??
