The Transcendentalists seem to know my heart. After finishing Thoreau's biography, I'm now on a mission to work my way through all the primary documents of that time in an orderly way. I've read most of this stuff, but only Willy-nilly--I'm so excited! The logical place to begin is with Emerson, so an essay every day or so from him is where I'll begin!

Lindy @Nat_Reads I don't have one at the moment, but in the past it's been varied: soil microbiology, history of gardens, photography as an art form, the art of children's picture books across time and places, edible wild plants… and more. 7y
Lindy @Nat_Reads Oooh, and pottery designs from ancient Mesopotamia —that was a big one that still grabs me every time I see something new on the subject. 7y
