✨We had a great time on vacation. I didn't get to read as much as I thought I would. It turns out driving from Nebraska to California is pretty interesting! I also realized I have a very strong dislike of the state of Utah. 😂🤷
✨It was a very nice week in the desert without humidity. I was actually cold there! Now we're back in Nebraska and it's back to reality.🙃😭

Burghbookaddict I have a cousin that lived in LA and the first time I went to visit her all I packed was shorts and t shirts and as soon as the sun went down I was freezing! The movies make it seem like its nice and warm there all the time and that is a lie! 6y
robinb ❌👎UT, huh??!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (no offense to our Utah folks!) (edited) 6y
abbsinwonderland @BurghBookAddict Well, I expected it to be cold at the beach from the wind (the water was actually really warm which I guess is rare for that beach) but in the desert I was wearing sweats and a hoodie when it was 90 out! It's crazy how much hotter humidity makes it 6y

abbsinwonderland @robinb Idk why, but that state really made me so mad lol. I was just irritated the whole time driving through it. There isn't anything there! Every road off the interstate is dirt roads and "no services". It was crazy. I felt sooo much better as soon as we crossed into Nevada the way there and Colorado on the way back ? definitely no offense to our Utah Littens. It's just not for me lol 6y
robinb @abbsinwonderland I felt that way driving through TX on our way to the Grand Canyon. Will it EVER end??!! 😳😂😂😂 (no offense to our TX folks!) 😊 6y
abbsinwonderland @robinb LOL I wanna go to Texas so bad cause SpaceX has their BFR launch pad there, but my boyfriend doesn't trust me not to try and break in 😂🙈 we won't ever be driving through Utah again though lol. Next time we'll go down through new Mexico and Arizona. We only drove through the tip of AZ, like ten minutes of it but it was beautiful 6y
robinb @abbsinwonderland I guess I had never really thought about just how huge TX really is. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And yes, what we saw of AZ is really pretty. 6y
abbsinwonderland @robinb Oh yeah, it is HUGE. I mean, Nebraska doesn't have much either, but at least it's green and there's a little bit more to look at. Plus we have more than dirt roads and "no services" signs ? 6y
robinb @abbsinwonderland Exactly! It‘s rather eerie to go for miles and miles without seeing ANYTHING but Mother Earth. 6y
abbsinwonderland @robinb This was also the first time we took my car that far. I was so nervous we would break down there and be completely screwed. No phone service either there! Plus even though it's the interstate hardly anyone was on it. A little too sketchy for me lol 6y
robinb @abbsinwonderland Wow...a deserted interstate??!! Now that‘s just creepy! 🤯 6y
abbsinwonderland @robinb DEFINITELY! Lol.. I had my boyfriend walk with me when I had to pee 😂 plus I always have knives and pepper spray on me just in case. 6y
robinb @abbsinwonderland 👍🙌🏼🤣🤣 6y
