Mehso-so

I really wanted to like this book because I love historical reads, however it seemed as if the concept of the book was more about the familial relationship than that of Pearl harbor. It did speak of Pearl harbor but I felt like I had to dig for pertinent information. It was geared more towards the differences between the United States and Hawaii. I really wish it would have focused more on affect and effect of before, during, and after the war.
