Today‘s my bday!!! It‘s almost over, but it‘s been hella chill & amazing. I‘m winding down w/anime & books. I wanted to share my current reads with y‘all.

This one is about a girl who escapes her crappy reality by visiting her late bro in her dreams. Then her safe dream realm starts getting haunted by a creepy black dog & something else that‘s ominous, threatening not only her safe dream realm but soon her reality as well! Very spooky.

Just finished while waiting for my hubby's plane to land! I enjoyed it! It's quite different and lighter than his other books, while still being in the same genre. Probably aimed at YA audiences.

A bit of reading before work. I didn't know Kadrey had written anything outside the Sandman Slim series. This feels like YA, I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but it's pretty good so far.

The story is interesting, so far, but I'm finding myself judging the editing super hard. I'm on page 65,and I've already noticed several sentences with words missing, wrong tenses or spelled incorrectly. I don't want to give up on it, but it's driving me mad!

My #hallowreads month is going to start early! First up, Dead Set by Richard Kadrey.
