New thriller. Last in trilogy (although I have to read number 2 still!).

#weeklyforecast - because I haven‘t a clue what‘s next!
More train reading. No reading was done yesterday, too exciting, knackering and amazing 😁 ⚽️ 🏆 a bit tired now and so may just as easily fall asleep.
Finished this one on the train on Friday. It was brilliant - all action addition to the series.
Train reading. Travelling to stay with daughter this weekend and going down to cup final tomorrow 😁
This is what I like waking up to 😁
Hibernation for now. Work and other things very stressful and I just can‘t read about these men anymore who‘s only thoughts in life are to rape and murder women 🥲 you have to be in a very good place to read this. Like being bludgeoned with hate.
Good family drama, enjoyed the read and the constant bad decision making. How can everyone be this dysfunctional 😁 ?

Just starting Olympus, Texas and the others are maybe lined up for this week 😁
Although a feel good book, I did have a little tear at the end.
Lovely characters and felt very real.
Train reading, on way to see Numan in London 😁
#bookreport
At the Table was a good dysfunctional family read.
Sea of Tranquility was a pick, but only just and I didn‘t love it. Maybe the hype, maybe I peaked at Station Eleven 🤷♀️
Loved Cecily, good historical story telling.
Just started Eudora today.
Loved it. Exactly how I imagined Cecily. What a woman.
I also loved that the author wrote this in her 50s after having a very different career path. Her love of history and the stories and characters shines through.

Have come out the other side of the office move chaos. On different bit of campus now with new eating places ? Qd for this salad(I know doesn‘t like very salad like!).
Really enjoying book, just not much reading time this week.
Her writing is, as always, beautiful. I just didn‘t find any emotional connection to the story. I loved Station Eleven, disliked The Glass Hotel and this one is somewhere in between. It‘s a pick because I really wanted to see how she brought things together and it was very cleverly done.
Hope I‘ve remembered everyone in the tags.

Very grateful for a bank holiday today as I hadn‘t slept in my own bed since Wednesday with work and wedding! Having a quiet read before anyone else gets up and I get on with the million things that need doing.
Reading and tea first 😁
I really enjoyed this- and a great debut novel. Follows the life of a family over a year, where they are going through the usual ups and downs that families go through. No all out action, but funny observations, bad choices and uncomfortable family discussions.
#weeklyforecast
Should finish At the Table today and the rest of this week may come from the others 😁
Have another busy week- seeing Numan in Liverpool and London- it‘s been a long time since 12 October 2019!! And moving office.
Attempting some train reading! Train is packed, I‘m tired and hungry ☹️
Finished in bed last night. Good read- didn‘t guess murderer and lots of shenanigans going on in the background.

Has very good reviews 😁
I love the Tom Thorne series by this author, but I‘ve read 100 pages of this and I‘m just bored and hate the MC and the stereotypes of being on a psychiatric ward are a bit jarring.
Bailing.
This was a good, but sad, read. A lot of insight to the care system and it‘s impact on young people. I really disliked the foster mum in this and wanted to shout loudly at her. A good debut read.
#weeklyforecast
Currently reading Care Less.
The others are planned maybes for this week.
Got to have office packed up by Wednesday, away with work Thursday/Friday and finally my niece‘s wedding next weekend! Not sure I‘m fitting a lot of reading in though.
Have a good week all.
I really enjoyed this one ❤️ sad and a bit heart breaking. But very atmospheric and realistic, though to be fair, no one wants this version of life.
#bookreport
The Last Thing was an ok thriller, already mostly forgotten.
Bailed on Remote Sympathy
Doomsday Prophecy- good all action thriller.
Should finish Unsettled Ground today.
Hairdresser reading 😁 a couple of hours peace from the office move!
Back with this series 👍🏻 number 3 and the usual action packed adventure!
I‘m not familiar with this actor because I don‘t watch films/telly a lot. But this is not the Will Trent that lives in my head!!
I‘m guessing it‘s definitely me by all reviews. Didn‘t like any of the characters (I know you‘re not really supposed to!). But Greta! Really, were any of the officers wives this stupid and naive? Got to 150 pages and that was it, wasn‘t enjoying at all.
Entertaining thriller read for a Sunday afternoon. I shall probably have completely forgotten about it next week.
#weeklyforecast
Finishing The Last Thing today.
Got decorating to finish tomorrow ☹️
The others are lined up for the rest of the week.
Easter pressie off hubby ♥️ I have coveted this version since publication! It‘s lovely!!
#bookreport
Apologies it‘s late! Was busy footballing yesterday! Still reading tagged one and enjoyed all my others this week ♥️
It‘s a coach read today! FA. Cup Semi-final. Only coach travel available. Bit too excited to read but giving it a go.
She has very similar styles and themes in all her books. This is definitely the debut author book, but I still really enjoyed it.
Dysfunctional families, lost people and healings ❤️
I don‘t read a lot of NF and even less that are classed as memoirs! But I‘m glad I read this, an informative, engaging read. There is a lot of heart ache in this book, but the author offers their advice on getting through tough things and how it was for them, in the hope that it will help others.
Well worth a read.

Awww, I did love it. Just the right amount of serious v fun. Loved Elizabeth, definitely a woman after my own heart.
Sadly, some of these things are still being said today. No less relevant now than in the 50s/60s.

Started Lessons in Chemistry this morning.
The others are potentials this week at the moment!
Have a good week all ❤️
Another tale full of twists and turns! Love the characters as much as the mysteries.
#bookmail
Lessons is the fancy, lovely Waterstones version.
Waterstones are winning with these aren‘t they!?
#bookreport
Loved The Trees.
One Day in April was heartbreaking.
Do Not Feed the Bear was on a par with Flamingo- if you like one you‘ll like the other. I really liked it ❤️
Tally Stick was a good mystery read.
And I‘m currently back with Myron in The Final Detail.
An engrossing mystery that still left quite a few questions at the end, so if you need neatly tied up endings, this isn‘t for you.
I loved this ❤️ although there are sad underlying themes of loneliness and grief, it‘s a feel good read. I loved the characters and even a POV from the dog! Just what I needed to read.
If you enjoyed Flamingo you‘ll enjoy this one.
Another Qb ‘used‘ hardback that I don‘t think has been read.
