There was nothing particularly wrong with this book and I think it will appeal to NZ readers of fictionalised true crime. I didn‘t love it simply because the crime itself was not overly compelling to me and I got a little bored with the repetition of the particulars. Interesting look at 1950s NZ society and an introduction to Bodgies and Widgies.
