I finished this one last night. I found it incredibly interesting but definitely a tough subject. I was only 7 when it happened and I live in the UK so I don‘t have any recollection of the event itself. It was fascinating and disturbing to read about all the different factors at play and misinformation put out at the time. It was reading about the long painful recovery of some the victims that really got to me - just overwhelming sad and unfair.

BookNAround Sue Klebold wrote A Mother‘s Reckoning about her son and Columbine. It‘s a fantastic but tough book that makes a great companion to this one. 6y
Slajaunie The school counselor came to my school to tell us about her experience. 6y
Christine11 @BookNAround Thank you! I‘ve added it to my TBR and I‘ll definitely read it soon - I‘d be interested to read what she has to say because it must have put her in a situation that felt so impossible. 6y
Christine11 @Slajaunie I think it‘s good to hear from the people who experienced it. But it must have been tough to listen to. 6y
