Then, Dani's nightmare returns years later as San Francisco - and her new team X-Force, come under attack from a similarly unholy ursine! New Mutants: Demon Bear | Chris Claremont
Pickpick

I loved seeing a Native superhero that was fully fleshed-out and didn't play into Native stereotypes. Dani Moonstar is kickass, her comrades are equally kickass, and her friendship with Rahne was amazing. The artwork is incredible and sometimes disturbing, and while there are some problematic and offensive scenes to Native culture, it was all-in-all a good time.
