At first I was leaning towards "so-so" but the more I think about this book the more annoyed I am. It is extremely unrealistic and the choices made don't make sense and don't fit with characters. The charge didn't fit the action. The ending was was frustrating. This week I'm reminded why I don't read YA contemporaries too much. ??

If you love the complicated, serious topics of Ellen Hopkins' books, you will love this book. Ready to take full blame for her brother Cyrus's death, CeCe is preparing for her court case while staying in the Behavioral Therapy unit of a juvenile correctional facility. Beautifully written with vivid imagery, the novel flips between present and past as we learn about Cyrus's addiction to Oxycontin and how it affects his family.
