Silent Sun
Silent Sun | Ayushman Jamwal
1 post | 1 to read
No longer chained to a fight for survival, we are consumed by an endless search for meaning, purpose and fulfilment through our meagre human instinct, fighting for communion and love against lonely existence, and even marvelling at what an afterlife has to offer. We walk this earth forging and re-forging ourselves. Just like the sun, we do beautiful and unfortunate things in that constant struggle to be a little more than nothing. It is what makes us human. The creator, the preserver, the destroyer, the tormented, the hero, the enlightened, the faithful and the wanderer are all united by this virtue. This is a celebration of the Silent Sun in all of us. The countless voiceless tales beckoned to the universe. The spirit that elevates us above our primordial origins. Find your fire between the lines.

Poem: An Honest Soliloquy
Collection: Chameleon Lights (Not in the Litsy database)

“They say I am powerful,
They say I am eloquent,
They say I am wealthy.

But I am feeble,
I do not believe,
I am surrounded by the mute, the inanimate,
For I am made of baser things.”
