Who'd Have Thought
Who'd Have Thought | G. Benson
3 posts | 4 read | 1 to read
Top neurosurgeon Samantha Thomson needs to get married fast and is tightlipped as to why. And with over $200,000 on offer to tie the knot, no questions asked, cash-strapped ER nurse Hayden PErez isn't about to demand answers. The deal is only for a year of marriage, but Hayden's going into it knowing it will be a nightmare. Sam is complicated, rude, kind of cold, and someone Hayden barely tolerates at work, let alone wants to marry. The hardest part is that Hayden has to convince everyone around them that they're madly in love and that racing down the aisle together is all they've ever wanted. What could possibly go wrong?

Pickpick

I guess a pick? Like 4 stars? Perfectly capable sweet F/F fake marriage romance set in NY. Backstory is more interesting with one protagonist than with the other, story kinda drops that backstory at a key moment, but whatever, we know the true focus. I wish Litsy had five options and that so-so were pointing up, not down.

Lindy It‘s so tricky with rating systems, isn‘t it? I consider 3, 4 & 5 stars (out of 5) a pick on Litsy. 2 stars is so-so in my estimation. One star is a pan. 5y
suzisteffen @Lindy ooooh THAT is interesting. Once I get into 3.5 territory, I feel like I‘m at the so-so level. I will think about your system! 5y
Lindy @suzisteffen A five-star read for me is one that I love so much that I wouldn‘t hesitate to reread it. A four-star read is great, but once is enough. A three star is enjoyable in spite of some flaws, but not flawed enough to keep me from recommending it to others. That‘s why they are all “picks” for me on Litsy. 5y
