panI really wanted to like this as the premise was interesting. I found myself skimming parts as the author wrote about how the nose functions and studies she read. While, I understand these aspects are important, I felt they were a bit overdone and I wanted to read more about the author and how it effected her dream to become a chef. This aspect felt like it was pushed to the background to me, instead of the forefront. I found myself disappointed.
