Mehso-so

This book was very cute. I liked the use of Spanish throughout, and I think it‘d be great for kids to be exposed to new cultures and ideas, like adoption. I wasn‘t a huge fan of the style of the illustration, but it was fitting for the book.

the only thing i didn‘t really like about this book was the use of color in the illustrations. the colors were kind of dull and washed out

Pickpick

Macmillan Publishing Company 1994
I like how this book teaches small things about another culture. Simple things through the book like the use of “abuelito” can make children understand and think about different cultures
