I like how this book isn‘t an ordinary book. The pages open big which little kids love. It explains how animals blend in with their surroundings.

This nonfiction story was published in 2017 by Sterling Children‘s Books. I was instantly drawn to the illustrations in this story. They were created using pencil and acrylic paints and they capture the smallest, simplest details. The author uses captions to explain pictures and some of the pages even open up to show a large picture.
