A nice, short, concise book going over the latest thoughts on consciousness. Not a lot of detail, but a good starting point if you do not know the latest research and thoughts on this subject.

What a mind-blowing little book! Blending neuroscience, physics, and philosophy, Annaka Harris explores the mystery of consciousness in straightforward, unpretentious prose. Harris has a knack for helping the layperson imagine seemingly unimaginable concepts, and encourages readers to entertain unanswerable questions. I was afraid this book might trigger an existential crisis, but it was strangely soothing and utterly fascinating.
