Pimp: The Story of My Life | 
I'm not impulsive and don't buy books unless they've been researched thoroughly. Last year, I impulsively ck'd out this title because it was near the last name of whatever bio I was retrieving and it's a career about which I know nearly nothing. I didn't love it. #augustphotochallenge
Laalaleighh 😖 I unfortunately know some people that consider themselves men's rights activists and seem to compete to see who can post the most misogynistic blog posts to Fb. As a result, I know that MRA's seem to really like this book and use quotes from it about how pimps should treat their... employees (for lack of any other word) as advice on how men should treat their girlfriends and wives. 😔😡 I'm not surprised you didn't love it. 8y
MMenefee @Laalaleighh I prefer to read about unfamiliar issues to increase empathy. Those of whom you speak are apparently not on that same page, or even in the same library. 8y
