I want to like short stories, I really do, but I'm a long form reader at heart. This novel, told in 14 linked "episodes", may be my gateway into more short story reading. I really like how characters pop in and out of the book: one episode/story focuses on a specific character, who may then reappear as a peripheral character in a subsequent episode. #mountTBR #shoppingmyshelves

I don't have a copy of Heft in the house, but found in my mountainous TBR a copy of what I believe is Liz Moore's first novel. Based upon my love for The Unseen World, I'll be reading this sooner rather than later.
