Whistling in the Dark | 
pickLoved this little gem of a book. Set in 1959, 10-year-old Sally recaps the events of that summer with her younger sister Troo, including the very real fear of a murderer/molester at large. The author's ability to really capture the atmosphere of the Midwest in 1959 was really what pulled me in.
