Really good!
Really good!
I picked this one up years ago at the EAA fly in at Oshkosh, WI and recently found the audio so decided to finally jump into it while making cookies. (Audio is apparently my secret weapon to getting into non-fiction.) This book is so fascinating, heartbreaking, and interesting. War was just so different back then.
Hard to get through- kind a slog
Facilitating a discussion of this riveting WWII book. We'll talk about honor, goodness, fear, memory. Much of the book is the story of a German fighter pilot, a perspective I never truly considered.
