I read this as a teenager and it stands to be one of my favorite book series. I understand that Tara K Harper is a native Californian and slowly going blind so her books take a long time to come out. The character of Dion was my journey through relationships and fear. With her I experienced my first heartbreak were I cried over the loss of a character. My go to of her series is Greyheart. I loved the story.
