This is my review for a book I just finished this month. It looks like I‘m starting this month off right.

This book was so hard to rate! It contained such beautiful stories (especially Ms. Mary‘s), but the book in totality was lacking. The first half of the book was wonderful and I loved how it contained interviews with other marvelous people. The second half seemed to step away from the main idea of the book and dealt more with etiquette. Overall, I really enjoyed the beginning and had high hopes, but this book fell flat on those expectations.

As she moves through life, she tries hard to always deposit something positive, something kind, something uplifting, something helpful in her wake.

My morning so far: slept in✔️, enjoyed a shower without interruptions✔️, now enjoying HOT coffee and a book✔️. For my fellow moms out there, you know there is a slim chance of any of these happening, let alone all three in a single morning! Making the most outta it while it lasts!

From the author of Adulting comes Gracious, which is an amusing and worthwhile read, but I was hoping for a little more from it.

Beers and manners are a good pair. 💅

This book is teaching me so much more than I thought it would. Social etiquette! Loving your home! Being a host! And more I haven't gotten to yet!

I am always in awe of Kelly Williams Brown's ability to deal with weighty, important issues with an incredible sense of humor. Her second book may even exceed my high expectations. I can't wait to see what she puts her own to next.
