I participated in #serieslove2025 and I finished reading 5 series that I had in progress. I wish I could‘ve read more series because I have a spreadsheet full of series I have in progress but I was able to delete 5 series from that spreadsheet so I‘m happy about that. One of my goals that I try to work on every year is to finish series.

I‘ve also decided to start reading this devotional. I own this version of this devotional but I also have the 2025, 2026 editions too. I‘m starting with the 2024 edition since I never read it in 2024. I like this devotional so far. This devotional will take me all year to read.

I‘ve decided that I want to read the Bible for a year this year. I have this Daily Bible from Guideposts that I bought a year ago. I‘ve started reading it and so far, I like how it‘s written. I read the whole bible back when I was a teenager. I had a study bible for teenagers that I was reading but it wasn‘t very engaging to read. This one is different because it‘s written in a way that you can read it from the beginning to the end.

Yay!

I‘m getting close to being finished with this. I have 1 more story in this book to read tomorrow night on New Year‘s Eve and then I‘ll be finished. If I don‘t read it tomorrow night then I‘ll finish reading it on January 1st. I‘m going to be watching New Year‘s Rockin‘ Eve tomorrow night on TV. I probably won‘t be finishing this book tomorrow night or I can finish it before NYRE comes on and get a review posted online.

I colored this picture and wrote this #haiku about it. The only female knight I‘ve read about in books or seen on TV was Brienne Of Tarth from the Game Of Thrones tv series and the A Song Of Ice And Fire book series. Since Game Of Thrones, there haven‘t been any other female knights.

For #5joysfriday, my mom and I went and walked through this thing called Path Of Lights. It‘s in the neighborhood next to ours. It‘s beautiful. It‘s been winning awards since 2023 and they keep adding on to it every year. My mom and I even took pictures with some of the inflatable decorations. These lights will probably stay up until January.

Christmas is over now but I still wanted to talk about how Christmas Day was for me even though I‘m tired.

Here‘s what I got for Christmas.

1. 1 Amazon gift card, 1 Bath And Body Works gift card, 1 Barnes & Noble gift card and a Barnes & Noble electronic gift card
2. A Christmas card and some bookmarks
3. A heart pillow that you heat up in the microwave which would be helpful for when I‘m on my period or for any other pain. I also have a bear that has a pouch I can microwave. It seemed like it helped when I used it.

I made this graphic this year so I could see visual progress of how I did reading #roll100 books. I didn‘t read everything on my list and I ended up changing out a few books on my list so I could read books for buddy reads I participate in. I‘m not going to be reading any more #roll100 books this year but I want to participate again next year.

I usually post this at the end of the month but I‘ve decided to go ahead and post how I did with reading my #roll100 picks. I did it. I read them. I just finished the Christmas devotional this morning on Christmas Day.

This is the progress I made in this book the night before Christmas Eve. I‘m not reading any of this book tonight. I‘m tired. I need to go to bed so I can get up in the morning. My mom‘s boyfriend, my brother and sister in law are coming over to open presents and eat lunch. My mom and her boyfriend will be making Picadillo (a Mexican soup we eat for lunch on Christmas Day every year).

Tonight, my family and I went out to eat for Mexican food. This is what I wore and my makeup. My mom said that I look pretty and that my eye makeup is really pretty. I have a hand tremor but I do my own makeup. I‘m not a professional makeup artist. I like doing my eyeshadow like this. I haven‘t learned how to apply fake eyelashes yet. The magnetic eyelashes might be easier for me to apply. I don‘t know yet.
