Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo board. I didn‘t get a bingo but I got caught up on the #christiescapers buddy read that I joined and I ended up having all 3 books done by the end of the month when we had our discussion. I won‘t have as many Agatha Christie books to read in April. I‘ll only have 1 to read. They‘re so short. They don‘t take any brain power to read.

Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo picks. I read the short story I was supposed to read for #noplacelikeholmes. I knew I would be able to since the stories are so short and they don‘t take any brain power to read. I wanted to read the books for #naturalitsy. I‘m disappointed that I didn‘t get a chance to but maybe in April, I‘ll get to if I have time. It‘s the perfect time to read books about nature because it‘s Spring.

Here‘s how I did on #bookspinbingo in March. I finished 1 series for #serieslove2025, read a book for a book club and read books for buddy reads. I didn‘t read any more of Assassin‘s Apprentice for the #realmofelderlings buddy read and I didn‘t read any of the books for the #naturalitsy buddy read. I‘m still reading a #roll100 book I started in February and I haven‘t finished it yet but I‘m making progress on it.

Here‘s how I did on March‘s #roll100 picks. I‘m still reading My Healthy Noggin. I‘ve been reading it since February but I‘m making progress in it. Hopefully, I‘ll finish it in April. It looks like I‘m going to be rolling over the books from February and March or maybe I‘ll end up reading these other books another month.

March #bookhaul. I didn‘t have enough room in my Novelly Yours reading journal to write down the rest of my book haul because there‘s only 2 pages for a book haul so I figured out that at the back of each month, it has blank pages and you can write down whatever you want back there so I used the blank pages to write down the rest of my book haul.

For #weeklyfavorites, I chose The Mysterious Affair At Styles as a favorite for week 3. For the last week of the month, I chose the tagged book. I‘m participating in the #christiescapers buddy read. We‘re reading Agatha Christie books in publication order. I feel like you can‘t go wrong with any of her books. They don‘t take a long time to read so when you read one of her books then you feel like you‘re at least finishing something.

I haven‘t been to any indie bookstores in my area. I live in TX and I found out we have 25 indie bookstores here. I didn‘t know we had so many. 4 of them are close to where I live. I don‘t drive because I don‘t know how. My mom drives me if I want to go somewhere. I‘m supporting Village Books in The Woodlands on bookshop.org and I‘m supporting The Book Attic in Tomball on Libro.FM.

Tonight, I watched this movie about Taylor Swift on Kanopy. I might as well use Kanopy since it‘s free through my local library. I‘ve found a lot of stuff I want to watch. If your local library has Kanopy to watch stuff, you should take advantage of it. It just depends on what you like to watch. I also watched Fathom tonight on Apple TV. Fathom is a documentary about humpback whales and their songs. It was so interesting.

I‘ve started journaling this year because I‘m reading a book called “My Healthy Noggin” by Bokinia Colbert that‘s about mental wellness journaling right now. The book has guided journal prompts and blank journal pages. Taylor Bradshaw asked this question in his Facebook group and this was my response.

I‘ve seen Hello, Dolly! and Fatal Attraction. I liked Hello, Dolly! but I didn‘t like Fatal Attraction. I watched Fatal Attraction with my mom and she asked me what I thought about it after we watched it and I said,”This movie was something else.”
I want to watch E.T, Mary Poppins, Funny Girl, Fiddler On The Roof and Cabaret.

According to Google, I have 4 independent bookstores near my location here in TX. It wouldn‘t be too long of a drive for my mom to take me to any of these bookstores but it‘s more convenient for me to support independent bookstores online because I don‘t have to worry about transportation when I do that.

Good Books In The Woods - 19 minute drive
Buy The Book - 18 minute drive
Village Books - 17 minute drive
The Book Attic - 26 minute drive

Itchyfeetreader I also don‘t drive and appreciate supporting local bookstores. I do that via bookshop.org online (I am in the Uk) or via the good old phone to my most local shop. if I am able to pre order something to make heading there a known win - and then I can also browse! 5d

I can‘t drive there myself because I don‘t know how to drive but my mom can drive me.

This was my first Agatha Christie book. I‘m participating in the #christiescapers buddy read and I want to reread this book. I listened to it on Audible and it was narrated by Dan Stevens. He did really good. I liked his voice. He has the perfect voice for this type of book. I will listen to him narrate again.

I just started the tagged book for the #christiescapers buddy read. I like it so far. I didn‘t realize that when I read Murder On The Orient Express that the detective is Hercule Poirot in that book. That was my first Agatha Christie book and I would recommend it if you want to try out her books. I actually want to reread it since I‘m participating in this buddy read of her books.

I made this challenge for myself during the summer in 2023 to help me finish series. This is an ongoing challenge for me.

Here‘s how I‘ve done so far.

2023 - I finished 1 series during the summer in 2023.
2024 - I finished 3 series and DNF‘d 1 but I still decided to count it towards this challenge.
2025 - I have finished 3 series this year. I‘m curious to see how many more I‘ll finish this year.

It‘s interesting what Storygraph says about My Healthy Noggin by Bokinia Colbert. This is personalized for me. This book does focus on self reflection and you can journal along with it so I‘ve been doing that. This book is very different from other nonfiction books I‘ve read because it gives you blank journal pages and journal prompts. Journaling takes time. I‘ve been doing the journaling but I‘m not using the prompts.

I just got this email from Sunshine Coast Library in Australia. I signed up for a digital library card with them on March 12. I just got through borrowing an audiobook from their library. I forgot that they only gave me a temporary borrower ID when I signed up. I understand why they‘re doing this but I thought I would have more time and they said on their website that anyone can sign up for a digital library card from them.

I created a reading challenge for myself on Storygraph in 2023 to help me finish series I have in progress where I started the first book but I never continued with it. I‘ve now completed 8 series and I just added 5 more prompts to my challenge. My goal for #serieslove2025 this year was to finish 3 series and I did it so I‘m gonna keep going. Each month, I will choose 1 series that I want to finish.

I found a guided journal prompt online. I answered it yesterday and I‘ve included some of my answers from my journal. This was a fun one to answer. The prompt is,”What is a song that always makes you feel a certain way and what emotion does it evoke?” It took 3 pages for me to answer this. I could‘ve kept on going. I‘m thinking about sharing this every Tuesday since it‘s all about music. I love music.

I use Libby but I tend to forget about Hoopla and Kanopy. I use Hoopla to listen to music. I used Kanopy once on Roku. I tried to watch a video from The Great Courses but then I turned it off because I got distracted. I think I would prefer to listen to something from The Great Courses instead of watching it. I looked on Kanopy today and I found some documentaries that I‘m interested in watching.
