Here‘s how I did on my June #roll100 picks. I read 2 out of 3 book club books. The only one I didn‘t get to read was the book for the #LSFBC and I wanted to read it. I just didn‘t have time but I want to read it in July.
Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo June picks. I started Royal Assassin for the #realmofelderlings buddy read but I only read the prologue. I feel like I didn‘t have time to read very much of this book. I didn‘t read the book club book. I want to read it but I will read it another time. I don‘t have time to read it right now.
Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo list. I didn‘t get to read all of the book club books I wanted to read but I did read 2 of them. I was thinking I could participate in more than 2 book clubs this month because they were all reading books I wanted to read but I didn‘t have time. I didn‘t get to read the #LSFBC book this month and I wanted to. I started the #christiescapers book but I‘m not finished with it yet.
Here‘s how I did on my #readyourkindle picks in June. I read 3 out of 4. The only thing I didn‘t get to do was mood read a book from Kindle Unlimited.
Here‘s how I did on my #readyourkindle list in June. I started Royal Assassin for #realmofelderlings buddy read but I only read the prologue. I finished a series for #serieslove2025. I read some of the books on the #naturalitsy list. I started the short story for #christiescapers but I didn‘t finish it before the end of the month. I read the short stories for #noplacelikeholmes and I read the #whimsicalreadsbookclub book.
The first book was a book I read for the #naturalitsy buddy read that‘s about insects. The second book is a #whimsicalreadsbookclub we read in June. It‘s a cozy fantasy book. The third book is a dark romance ARC I read for The Smuthood PR. The fourth book is the short stories I read this month for #noplacelikeholmes. These are all very different books. I like to read different books or I get bored.

I‘m not finished with this book yet for the #christiescapers buddy read so I‘ll be finishing it in July. I have 4 hours and 19 minutes left.
Here‘s my June Book Haul. I started writing down my Stuff Your Kindle books in my Novelly Yours reading journal and then I decided I didn‘t want to finish writing the rest of them down but I figured out that I ended up getting 153 free Kindle books during Stuff Your Kindle Day. I had to make an Instagram reel just to show all of my Stuff Your Kindle books because I went crazy but at least they were all free books.

I just looked at my inbox and saw that I‘ve been accepted into the 2025 Sourcebooks Audio Influencer Program. I‘m happy about this but I forgot that I signed up. Do I deserve this opportunity? Am I taking this opportunity away from someone else who deserves it more? I‘m behind on reading ARCs and I haven‘t caught up yet but maybe I‘m not the only one who‘s falling behind.
I wanted to share this group text that I‘m in with my mom, my brother and my sister in law because I thought it was funny. It was about this picture that I took with my brother and sister in law but none of us remember where the picture was taken. Lol.
I saw this story today on Facebook when I was scrolling through my newsfeed and it inspired today‘s haiku.

Happy Cancer Season! It‘s also the start of celebrating the July birthdays in my family. I guess my mom‘s boyfriend is part of my family too because him and my mom have been together for years.
My birthday is July 9. My sister-in-law‘s birthday is July 25. My mom‘s boyfriend Donnie has 2 daughters named Ashlee and Sydney. Donnie‘s youngest daughter Sydney has her birthday on July 26 and my mom‘s birthday is on July 30.
This haiku is about what I saw in my backyard today. The blue jay flew off when I opened the door and I saw a lizard in the grass panting like he was scared to death. He was fighting for his life trying to keep from getting eaten. Poor baby. This picture of the Blue Jay is from Google.

After reading this book, I learned what a Jacob‘s Ladder piercing is. The main male character has one. It‘s a piercing that‘s done on the underside of the penis. A guy can choose to have one piercing down there or multiple ones but the piercing resembles a ladder. I had to Google it because I didn‘t know what it was. I‘ve never heard of it before. Why would a guy want to have that done? That sounds like that would hurt.
I just started this week‘s short story for the #christiescapers buddy read. I like it so far. I won‘t be finished in time for the discussion on Sunday but I hope to finish this story before the end of the month.
I just finished reading this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes.
Here‘s my review for this book that I just finished reading. This book is not on Litsy. I‘m supposed to turn in my review on or by July 1 to The Smuthood PR and I just submitted my link to my review before the deadline. I really didn‘t want to ask for more time to finish this book and get it reviewed and now, I don‘t have to. Yay!
#arc
I just finished reading Filthy Little Regrets and I see at the back of the book that more books are coming in this series which is great because I really liked the side characters in this. I‘m looking forward to reading the next 2 books. I don‘t know when they‘re coming out. It just says coming soon. I want to read Pretty Little Threats.
This haiku is dedicated to my backyard wild birds and squirrels. I fed the birds and put out peanuts for the squirrels yesterday and put in fresh water in the bird bath yesterday and today. My birds and squirrels are having a party outside today in my backyard. They‘re happy.

I got really far in this book tonight while doing laundry. I wish I could‘ve kept on going but I had to stop because my eyes started hurting. I need to rest my eyes. I had 3 hours left in the ebook and now, I have 21 minutes left. I just have the epilogue left to read now. I didn‘t know reading ebooks for a long time without taking breaks causes your eyes to start hurting. I only took a break to do laundry and that was it.
I‘m reading this ARC and I just learned about a piercing on the male genitals mentioned in this book called a Jacob‘s Ladder. I thought,”What is that?” And I just googled it and I thought,”Doesn‘t that hurt guys to have that done?” The male main character in this book has that piercing. I‘ve never heard of this before. It‘s amazing what you can learn from reading books.
This month is almost over and I just looked at the reading schedules for #christiescapers and #noplacelikeholmes and I saw that I need to start reading the short stories for both buddy reads while trying to finish the ARC I‘m reading for The Smuthood PR. I have to post my ARC review by July 1 so I only have 4 days left to finish reading my ARC and 3 hrs left in the book. I can probably finish my ARC tonight because I usually stay up late.
1. I watched this show about wild cats on the Kanopy app.
2. I watched Remember The Titans. I saw it when I was a little girl but I forgot that I‘ve seen it.
3. I finished my chicken salad from last night and had some tuna fish salad with it.
4&5. I reapplied for St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers Program after being in it for years and I got rejected but at least I get to read ARCs for The Smuthood PR and Chasing Books PR.
#5joysfriday
I took the #threelistthursday quiz on a Friday and I wanted to share my thoughts about the movies I watched from the Summer Movies list.
My score was: 25 of 100 - 25% so I did better this time.
This haiku is dedicated to the chicken salad I had for dinner last night that my mom brought home from Chicken Salad Chick. She brought it home before and it‘s really good. I still have some left over from last night. It‘s called Cranberry Kelli. My name is Kelli.
Chicken salad from Chicken Salad Chick.
They named it Cranberry Kelli and it‘s really good.
It has to be because it‘s named after me.

I‘m enjoying this book. I have 3 hours left in the ebook. This dark romance book has the enemies to lovers trope. I don‘t think I‘ve ever read a romance novel with that trope in it before but I like what I‘ve read so far.
I lost my spot in the 2025 St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers Program but I‘ve been a member of the Celadon Readers Program for years. They haven‘t made me reapply. They just ask me to update my information I gave them when I applied so they can keep their records updated. Celadon mentions you‘ll be considered for approval if you have a lot of followers. I don‘t have a lot of followers but they accepted me into their program.
I journal. I don‘t journal before bed every night if I don‘t have anything to write about but recently, I reapplied for the St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers Program after being in their program for years and they rejected me. I wrote about it in my journal. It ended up being a 3 page journal entry. I realized what bothered me the most was that they never used to care about how many followers you have and now, they do.

Today, I posted my second haiku and I like haikus. They‘re fun. It didn‘t take me very long to write the one I just posted. The challenge seems to be with haiku trying to figure out what topics to write about and keeping it to just being 3 lines without ruining the structure of the haiku. Usually on #whatsnewwednesday when I‘m talking about what‘s going on with me, I have a lot to say.
Today‘s haiku is dedicated to what the Fable app says about me as a reader. My ex boyfriend called me a crybaby because I was always crying and I wanted to say,” I‘m a crybaby because you make me cry. You asshole.”
Fable says I‘m an empathy scholar.
I‘ve always been sensitive and I tried to develop a thick skin so nothing would bother me.
Maybe being sensitive is a strength not a weakness.

I‘m on Fable and I really like the Book Aura feature. Me and @RosePressedPages just started following each other on Fable and we have the same reader personality. That‘s really cool.
Happy Publication Day to this book! I‘m not done reading it. I‘m still reading it for The Smuthood PR and it‘s not on Litsy but I still wanted to hype the book up on publication day anyway. I‘m enjoying it. I want to read the first book next. This is the second book in this series. I don‘t know if there will be other books following different couples.
Here‘s how I‘m doing on the #naturalitsy buddy read. I‘ve read the January, February and March books. Now to catch up, I‘ll have to read the April, May, June books and maybe the July book if I have time. I don‘t know how long it‘ll take me to read them because it takes me awhile to read nonfiction. I hope I can eventually catch up with everyone else who is participating. I‘d like to be able to participate in the discussions.
Here‘s my progress on #realmofelderlings. I started the tagged book this month. I‘ve only read the prologue but it was good. Will I make more progress? Eventually.
This is the #LSFBC book that was picked for this month. Before being accepted for the ARC I‘m reading now, I was going to start reading this but maybe I‘ll have time to read it next if I finish reading the ARC I‘m currently reading before the end of the month. If I do end up starting this book before the end of the month, I‘ll finish it next month but if I don‘t have time to read it this month then I can read it next month. I do want to read it.
This book is being published on June 26. I‘m still reading it and I‘m enjoying it. I won‘t be finished on time but I am enjoying this book. I was told that I have until July 1 to submit my review. I‘ve been reading this book every night. I signed up for this book from The Smuthood PR but I didn‘t think I was going to be accepted for it so when it was emailed to me, I decided to start reading it.
On the bright side, I found these 2 PR companies to review books for and they‘ve both said that they don‘t care about how many followers you have. If you want an ARC from them, they‘ll send it to you. I don‘t know if I‘ll get every single ARC I sign up for but I‘ll be happy with whatever I get. I don‘t need to review books for anyone who only cares about how many followers I have. Anyone who looks at my Instagram knows I love talking about books.
I asked Google if St. Martin‘s Press cares about followers and this was the answer. I asked this because they kicked me out of their Early Readers Program after I was in it for years. Apparently, I need more than 1,000 followers on social media. I only have 346 followers on Instagram but that shouldn‘t matter because I love talking about books. I‘m not less than because I‘m a small book account. My book opinions and thoughts matter too.
I‘m trying out haiku for the first time. I‘ve never written one before. This one is dedicated to Tom cat (the neighbor‘s cat). His owner named him Skye but we call him Tom or Tom cat. He was visiting us every day for months after my dog Toppy passed away but he doesn‘t visit anymore. This is a picture we took of him.
Tom cat doesn‘t visit my mom and I anymore.
We miss him. Where did he go?
Will he ever visit us again?

I see on Threads that other people said that they were kicked out of the SMP Early Readers Program just like I was so it‘s not just me. Maybe SMP wants to work with accounts that have a lot of followers so they have only brand new reviewers. I think I only have 300 and something followers on Instagram. I did good reviewing books for them at first but then I fell behind on reviewing and I‘ve been trying to catch up since then.
I‘ve been listening to a lot of alternative rock lately and then yesterday and today, I watched these 2 concert films from Slipknot. I never got to see them in concert. My older brother got me into this band a long time ago when they were really popular. I‘ve been a Slipknot fan since I was a little girl. I like that Corey Taylor can scream and sing and he doesn‘t lose his voice.
#tuesdaytunes
I decided to sign up to be notified of the next application period for the St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers Program but I‘m starting to think that maybe I should just stick to reviewing books for Chasing Books PR and The Smuthood PR since they don‘t care about how many followers you have. As far as the ARCs I‘m behind on reading for SMP, I‘ll catch up on those. It‘ll just take awhile. I‘ll read them when I have time.
I reapplied for the 2025 St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers program and this is the email they sent about my status. They kicked me out of their program. I know I‘m behind on reviewing the ARCs they‘ve been sending me but I‘m still disappointed. In the meantime, I found 2 PR companies on Instagram to review books for: Chasing Books PR and The Smuthood PR and they don‘t care how many followers you have.
I just made a Instagram reel sharing my book haul from Stuff Your Kindle day. I downloaded over 100 free ebooks from this event.

I just finished this week‘s short story. I‘m ready for tomorrow‘s discussion.
