Here‘s my review for this book I read for the #naturalitsy buddy read. This was the January book.

Here‘s what I listened to recently on my Amazon Alexa Echo Dot in my room. I had Kings And Queens stuck in my head recently so I thought maybe I should listen to Thirty Seconds To Mars.

I just found another book club on Facebook because it was advertised on Facebook so I signed up and I joined the Facebook group. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to participate every month because I‘m having a hard time catching up with buddy reads that I‘m a part of but it sounds fun. I read 1 book set in Key West that was a romance but I DNF‘d it because I didn‘t see any chemistry between the man and the woman. It also felt cringy.
I just finished this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes. I‘m ready for tomorrow‘s discussion. I noticed that the short stories in this section of the audiobook don‘t have the correct titles. When I clicked on the story about the retired colour man, it didn‘t say that. It said “The Adventure Of The Blanched Soldier”. I don‘t know why the stories in this last collection are not titled correctly. I can deal with it but it‘s annoying.
I saw this graphic on Instagram and wanted to share it here. This is for all of us on here. I don‘t think any of us have to worry about running out of books to read because books are being published every year. When we go book shopping, we‘re like book pirates hunting for treasure. The books are the treasure. That‘s why I enjoy online book shopping because I like looking for new books to add to my collection.
I forgot to participate in #threelistthursday last week so I‘m posting this on a Friday night. This week‘s list is books that were published in the 1800s. I‘m posting what I read and my thoughts about the books. My score for this is 7 of 100 - 7%.
I started this book. It‘s good so far. A book club I joined on Fable called Crow Club is reading this book this month. I‘m so excited about this.
Here‘s my review for this book I just finished reading. This is a steamy, coach‘s daughter, second chance hockey romance. This book was published on May 13. I thought I was going to be really late writing my review but I‘m only a day late reviewing it so it‘s not too bad because I finished it tonight.
I listened to 1 chapter of the audiobook for this book today when I went for a walk at the park in the neighborhood.

This book is being published on May 13. I‘m not going to finish it before then but I‘ve started it.
I found a bunch of free clean romance books over the weekend and I took advantage of this. I purchased a lot of them on Barnes & Noble and Amazon. If I didn‘t purchase any then I just added them to a To Be Read list on Amazon or a Kindle Unlimited TBR list on Amazon. I don‘t always want to read erotic romance so I like having the option of reading clean romance.
I read a lot of this book by playing a 2 hour read with me video on YouTube but you don‘t have to just read with it on in the background. You can also play this video if you have things you need to do.
I also wanted to read this book from Crow Club on Fable this month. I haven‘t started it yet but after I finish the ARC I‘m reading, I want to start this one next. I‘m looking forward to reading this one. I‘ve only heard good things about this book and I want to know why everyone loves it. I hope I love it too.
Here‘s my progress on other books I‘m #currentlyreading.
Sherlock Holmes: I‘m caught up on the #noplacelikeholmes buddy read.
Assassin‘s Apprentice: I have 5 hours left in the audiobook I‘m reading for the #realmofelderlings buddy read. I haven‘t read any more of this book.
What The Wild Sea Can Be: I‘m reading this book for the #naturalitsy buddy read. I have 9 hours left in the audiobook. I haven‘t read any more of this book.
I started this book. I signed up to read an ARC of this book from Chasing Books PR. They sent me an ebook ARC. I read for 1 hour and I only made it 43 pages into this book but I haven‘t read it again since. Maybe I will have more time to read it this weekend. It‘s good. I liked what I read. It‘s coming out on May 13 but I don‘t think I‘ll be finished with this book before it gets published.
I see that on the Kindle app, you can now buy ebooks. Everyone has been telling Amazon they wanted the option to buy books on the Kindle app. What‘s the point of this when you still have to go to the website to complete your purchase? I would rather just buy ebooks on the website since it‘s going to make you go to the website anyway.
I was on Facebook today and I saw this graphic about mother nature and its healing effects so I wanted to share it here.

I just watched this show on NBC recently. It‘s on Peacock to stream if you are paying for NBC‘s streaming service. If NBC airs this show again then I would recommend watching it. It was narrated by Tom Hanks and I really liked it. The burrowing owls were my favorite. They‘re so cute the way they tilt their heads to the side and the way they go under the ground into their hole and then pop out of the ground where their hole is.
#naturalitsy
I‘m still reading the tagged book but I found out about this webinar that was hosted on Zoom recently and I registered for it but I didn‘t get to watch it live. It‘s about the ocean and deep sea imaging. The webinar was posted on YouTube. I just watched it and I found it very interesting. If you‘re interested in watching it too, here‘s a link to it: https://www.youtube.com/live/6Xp_zikdUfQ?si=sqIFVRJ8v9VbUU5b

1. I recently purchased the tagged book in April on Kindle. It was a $2.99 Kindle deal so I bought it. I‘m looking forward to reading it and learning about all of the different owls that are out there. Recently, I watched a nature show called The Americas that was narrated by Tom Hanks and it showed burrowing owls. I like them. They‘re so cute.
2. Yeah. I use Goodreads, Storygraph, Instagram, Fable, Storylace and Litsy.

1. I prefer to lay down and read. I‘m actually laying down on the couch right now in my night gown. I haven‘t changed out of my night gown yet. I feel cozy.
2. The tagged book is going to be my next read. It‘s a steamy second chance hockey romance. I signed up for an ARC of this book from Chasing Books PR. It comes out May 13. I‘m looking forward to reading it.

Here‘s my review for this book I just finished reading. This was one of my February picks from my #roll100 list.
Here‘s my review for this book series I just finished reading. I finished this book series for #serieslove2025.
I was just sent an ARC of this second chance hockey romance I signed up for from Chasing Books PR. I forgot that I signed up for it. I actually signed up for the ARCs that they were offering around the same time I signed up for Replay by L.A. Shaw. I saw recently that they‘re offering Trick Play by L.A. Shaw which is the next book in The Playbook series.
I decided to start this book next. I read the first book a long time ago and I liked it but I never continued with the series. This is a football romance set in Atlanta, Georgia.
#serieslove2025
I just finished reading this week‘s short story “The Illustrious Client” for #noplacelikeholmes. Stephen Fry is going to be reading this collection of short stories for the last time. I‘m glad.
Here‘s my #readyourkindle picks for May. I have 2 mood reading prompts and 2 Kindle Unlimited prompts. I‘ll pick the books when I do the prompts. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to mood read this month but if I have time during the month, I would like to.
Here‘s my #readyourkindle list for May. It hasn‘t changed that much. I feel like I‘ll be able to read my #roll100 book and finish a series that I started. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to mood read but I like having the option to do it once I‘ve finished priority reads.
Here‘s my May #bookspinbingo board. I found the background image on Pinterest and I chose it for my bingo board because it‘s Spring. I thought it was cute to see the rabbits having a picnic outside.
Here‘s my May #bookspinbingo picks. My #bookspin is a #roll100 book that was picked in February and my #doublespin is a book club book. I joined Crow Club on the Fable app because I saw that they‘re reading Project Hail Mary this month and I want to read it. I‘ve been wanting to read it since I added it to my Goodreads TBR in 2021. I‘ve heard good things about it. I hope I like it.
Here‘s the rest of my April Book Haul that I wrote down in my Novelly Yours reading journal. The 2 book haul pages only have room for 22 books which is a problem for me because I tend to buy a lot of books. I couldn‘t fit all of them on to the 2 book haul pages in my reading journal so I had to use the 3 blank pages at the back.

I was on Fable and saw that this club is reading Project Hail Mary this month so I joined the club. I‘ve heard that this book has a lot of science but I‘ve also heard good things about it. I hope I like it. I‘ve had this book on my Goodreads TBR since 2021.
Here‘s how I did on my April #roll100 picks. I didn‘t read any of them but I did finish reading my #roll100 book from February so I‘m very happy about that. I still have the other book from February to read that‘s about black fashion designers but it shouldn‘t take a long time for me to read it. The audiobook for it is 6 hours and 32 minutes.
Here‘s how I did on my #readyourkindle picks. I didn‘t read any of them. My picks were whatever I would‘ve ended up picking at that moment and I didn‘t get the chance to mood read at all this month because I‘m participating in a lot of buddy reads but I like having the option to mood read if I don‘t feel like reading the books on my list.
Here‘s how I did on #readyourkindle in April. I read Replay (an ARC I signed up for from Chasing Books PR) and I finally finished reading my #roll100 book that was picked back in February. I was reading it from Kindle Unlimited. It was a Netgalley book I was supposed to read before it was published but my digital file expired before I had a chance to read it so I‘m glad I found it on Kindle Unlimited.
Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo picks. I only read the Agatha Christie book for #christiescapers. I didn‘t read the book club book.

I read an ARC I signed up for from Chasing Books PR and I finally finished my #roll100 book that was picked back in February. I made progress in the #realmofelderlings buddy read and started reading the January book for the #naturalitsy buddy read.
Here‘s how I did in April. I didn‘t read as much as I wanted to but that‘s okay. Hopefully, I can read more in May.
Here‘s my review for this book I finished reading from my February #roll100 list. This book is not in the Litsy database so it‘s being tagged under The Brain Book.
