#DivineDecember Day 22: This story features a witch named Willow as the protagonist, rather than Hansel and Gretel. Willow the Witch, was long-suffering and patient. She even offered to prepare a hearty meal for the siblings when she saw them trying to eat up her #gingerbread house. Rather than be upset, she offered a feast for them instead. #ThankfulThoughts Day 6: Hansel and Gretel are the two most famous #Siblings of all time. Unlike the original story, in this reimagined version by Woollvin, the #siblings seemed to be spoiled children who refuse to clean up the crumbs in the forest, simply because they could not be bothered. My review of this postmodern version of the tale: https://wp.me/pDlzr-kEy

As soon as I pulled out all the picture books from my library bag, Inara crawled in! #catsoflitsy

By the way, this picture book is awesome! I love all of Bethan Woollvin's fairy tale retellings!
