pickWow!! What a read!! Riveting, gripping. Severely underrated book. Purchased it months and months ago on book outlet for $2.49...so happy I finally read it and will be passing this on to a friend. Highly recommend this one. Kudos to Liz Coley who handled the subject matter with finesse throughout the story and then in her afterword. A great buddy read...really wish I would have read this with someone!
I started this a couple of days ago and the first sitting I only read to p 36, and I was like, meh...and then, the second sitting I flew all the way to p186 and the only reason why I stopped was because it was 1 am...really interesting YA read involving sexual abuse, kidnapping and Dissociative Identity Disorder...fascinating.
pickI got totally sucked into this story, in spite of how awful the back cover blurb was. It is a psychological thriller that reads like a YA Urban Fantasy without actually being fantasy at all.
