pickMeet Sam Thornton, Collector of Souls. That's all that I needed to be hooked on the whole series. A gritty, urban fantasy, and not for the faint-of-heart by the end. Still, a surprisingly deep meditation on sin and redemption that absolutely gutted me in book three.
