This was not my usual type of book, but I grabbed it in the library because I fancied something light. Well. It was extremely well written, gripping, exciting and with a healthy dollop of salacious silliness. A great read. The main character went through a big shift to become a much nicer person, and everything worked out nicely in the end. It will date quickly because of the way they use emails (I hope! Surely no-one is like that?!). Overall, fab

This scrapes a largely undeserved So-So because I'm such a warm and giving person (🤨🤔). It's cheesy, bland & boring. But what really got my goat was the amount of alcohol that was casually consumed by the middle aged MC - she drank every day and it wasn't integral to the plot. Every upset, every challenge, every success - she reached for the booze! It's even on the cover! Alcohol as coping strategy being normalised - not cool 🤬🤬🤬

Starting this one. Cover suggests it might not be my thing. But you know what they say about covers!

With thanks to #netgalley for this book.

"Tell Me a Secret” is a light-hearted look at a work friendship. Can you trust your work colleagues with your deepest secrets? Despite being a little predictable, I enjoyed this story but probably wouldn‘t recommend the audiobook. This was a good three star read for me.

This was another fun, fast read from Jane Fallon, whose books I always look forward to. She had me turning those pages, eager to keep reading, even when I was frustrated with the main character for being a bit obtuse/slow to figure things out. Finished it in one day.

Very good. Jane Fallon has done it again, rollercoaster of a story about two work colleagues. I really enjoyed this and thought I had worked out the twist but turns out I was wrong! Love it how it changed tack just as you thought it was going one way. Thank you #Penguin for providing me with a proof copy via #NetGalley.
