Spell Bound: A Novel | Kelley Armstrong
5 posts | 33 read | 7 to read
The #1 New York Times bestselling author sets the stage for a battle of epic proportions in the 12th installment of her critically lauded Women of the Otherworld series. Savannah Levine is all grown up. As a witch endowed with an array of spells, she is also a force to be reckoned with. As a paranormal investigator she is finally coming into her own. But her last case tore a family apart, and Savannah swore she'd give up her powers to fix the mess she helped create. Someone-or something-must have been listening. Powerless and on the run from witch-hunting assassins, Savannah stumbles upon a gathering storm that threatens the very existence of the Otherworld. The danger is real, and Savannah must somehow join forces with old friends like Elena, Clay, Paige, Lucas, Jaime, and Hope to face their world's greatest threat-and one that just might come from within. Praise for Kelley Armstrong and Waking the Witch: "Sexy, smart, and action-packed!" -Richelle Mead, New York Times bestselling author of the VampireAcademy series "A quick and fun read." -The Miami Herald

Best thing about long journeys on an empty train? Plenty of peace to read 😁 though the countryside is distracting, it's so pretty!!

I loved that this book, picked up right where waking the witch left off. No time lapse, just one long story. After reading this book I can tell Kelley has something big planned for the last book in the series, which has been building up in the last 2 books.

Bookzombie I'm still saving the last book like a dork. 🙂 7y
erickaa @Bookzombie I'm reading really slow because I don't want it be over, but don't have the will power to stop reading and make it last a little longer lol 7y

Book 12 in the Women of the Otherworld series. I really enjoyed it and think the series has improved with each book. It does feel like the middle of a trilogy in the sense that there is no resolution (I do not think that is a spoiler) because it is setting everything up for the final book. I'm a little sad that I only have one more book to read, but excited to wrap it up too. 4⭐️ Audio

I think I will go back and read all of the novellas too.

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I think I finished book 5 of this series, I really need to go back and pick it up again over this winter. 7y
Bookzombie @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I think it's worth going back too. 🙂 7y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Bookzombie Oh, I think so too. I just got distracted by something else and haven't gotten back to it yet. One of those, the next wasn't available at the library at that time, so I read something else. Thank goodness for Goodreads to keep track of it all! 7y
