Mehso-so

Taking a smut break from my ‘normal‘ reading (as you do) to finally finish the Sinners series. I am low-key obsessed with the first book and have read it three times. 😂 2nd book was ok, then I skipped 3rd because it appeared to be the obligatory BDSM book, skipped the 4th because of how I associate these books to one of my favorite bands, read the 5th, which was again ok. Now I‘m going back...

This 3rd book is indeed the BDSM book... ⬇️⬇️⬇️

sprainedbrain ...which I don‘t mind, but I also didn‘t really *need* and I‘m not entirely sure it was accurate. 😂

Anyway, I liked Jace, but couldn‘t stand his dominatrix/girlfriend Aggie. I tried but she‘s just a bit much, and the background for these two was way too forced. As per usual, this author writes some super hot, plentiful sex scenes, and I love the band (again, that‘s me associating these fictional dudes with some real ones). ⬇️⬇️

sprainedbrain I burned through this book to get to #4, but there is far too liberal use of the word ‘chuckled‘ for me to ever make it a pick. And Aggie‘s mother is referred to as Mom as if that‘s her name. Wtf.

Michael_Gee @sprainedbrain this is amazing and I love it. The whole review, but especially “there is far too liberal use of the word ‘chuckled‘ for me to ever make it a pick.” 4y

Larkken The first in series sounds worth a shot! I‘ll have to look for it. 4y
sprainedbrain @GhostStories It really felt like if there wasn‘t a chuckled every 2 pages, there was a chucking or a chuckle and I just cannot. 😬 4y
sprainedbrain @Larkken I almost never reread romance but that one is 🔥 4y
