Lost Without the River: A Memoir | Barbara Hoffbeck Scoblic
Pickpick

A beautiful and descriptive insight into life in old-USA. As a city girl I have never experienced country life before so it was an eye opener. I can feel the family ties are tight despite the hardships they faced. It also taught them about perseverance and how to live off the land. Rather lengthy and abit difficult to finish.
